Apex Free PSP Video Converter is an application to convert videos from your hard drive to a Sony Play Station Portable (PSP) compatible format. It supports AVI , DIVX, MOV, QuickTime, MPEG, VCD, DVD, WMV, ASF, RM, RMVB files as inputs. You can configure output parameters like video size, frame rate, audio and video bit rate, audio channels, etc. or select a preset profile for your specific needs.
This program has a simple interface, which is really intuitive and easy to follow, it supports batch conversion to let you process multiple simultaneous files, allows you to trim video by selecting start and end points of a clip or segment to encode, and can shutdown your computer after a long conversion task is performed.
I missed editing tools (like the possibility to crop screen, add a watermark, or effects to the video), and the program doesn't allow you to merge files or take snapshots of video scenes, but if you only need a basic tool to convert a batch of files, this program should be enough. If you want to test this software, a free but limited trial , which only converts 50% of each file, is available for download.
